Your Inner wisdom and strength of self have been slowly taken away from humanity as a species over the generations. We have slowly been distracted, from good wholesome community living, growing and preparing our own foods and medicines, and instead have been lured into a convenience-driven world that has switched off our inbuilt connection to the earth, and suppressed our skills of thriving in favor of ease and convenience. We have been programmed into consumerism within a system, owned by and financially benefits a select few individuals. We are led to believe that we have no power to break away or change things within the system we are born into.

Now that may be true if you look at world problems from an individual’s standpoint. Very few people on this earth can make great changes alone, however, what we are distracted from by diving and conquer strategies and never taught is our strength in numbers.

I mean would one single man go to war and expect to be victorious? No, he would have an army of warriors beside him who have tactics and a plan under their belt. So why do we think we have to do it all alone? Why do we struggle to ask for help? Even kings and rulers have advisories, so what makes us different.

I want to tell you a story about the true king of the jungle.  The Ant!

When I visited the Peruvian Amazon in 2016-17 I spent a lot of time outside living in nature and it opened my eyes to a lot of things, for example, the true king of the jungle and the huge importance these mighty creatures have upon the jungles’ ecosystem.

Now everyone goes to the jungle and wants to see the apex predator “the jaguar” which is nigh on impossible as these beauties live deeeeeeeep in the jungle, away from the heat and possible encounters with humans. But what I did see was ants, everywhere and as annoying they seemed at first, the more I immersed myself into their world, I began to understand the importance of their role, The ant is mighty, they are the movers and shifters, who play a huge role in breaking down the old, decaying foliage and transporting away dying creatures and plants within the jungle. It was beautiful, yet horrific to witness the falling of a beautiful butterfly, and the speed at which the ants get to work, its literally moments,  before the mighty kings come in and break up and transport the dying butterflies body, leaving only its wings behind.

The jungle floor is brimming with many species of ants (over 1000 to be exact) from the highly determined leafcutter ants seen marching in lines that go on and on, carrying leaves several times their body weight for miles across the jungle floor. Then you have the traveling army ants that swarm into areas in their millions taking out everything that needs to be removed and carrying it away. This is a never-ending cycle that never stops!

Collectively they are all a force not to be messed with.

Do you think those ants would hold half as much power on their own, as they do in a group?

This was my understanding, gained from sitting as an observer in the amazon.

this got me thinking, we hold individual power, but the power is amplified when immersing ourselves into a like-minded community that we really see our strength come to light.

This is what the powers who rule the world, don’t want us to know. They want us to be divided and fighting each other so that we are distracted from facing our suppressors, the common enemy. When we realize our strength in numbers, those in power become nothing more than a little old man, hiding in the box, putting on a persona of being the great wizard of oz.

If you haven’t seen the Disney Pixar film “a bugs life” I highly recommend it, it is a deeply empowering message for the times we are living in.
